Mini Shower

The Mini Shower still hangs on the side of my toilet.  My youngest child has been out of diapers for two years but we still find uses for the toilet sprayer.

That said, I do not think I would’ve enjoyed cloth diapering as much had the Mini Shower not been in my life.  After the birth of my twins, we had a few months of diaper service.  Which was great, but I was not going to pay out of pocket for someone else to wash the nappies.   We had the prefolds, and the Bummies diaper covers, we were ready but……….

I could not wrap my brain around the whole poop issue.  I didn’t really want to get my hands that dirty.   I hear that a lot.  People just not that into cloth diapers because they think you have to wring out dirty diapers with your bare hands.

That may have been the case 50 years ago when our grandmothers were washing, but now a days, that could not be any further from reality.

The Mini Shower hangs on your toilet,  it is very easy to hook up, and it has a high pressure spray that takes seconds to wash the poops away.  No matter what the texture.   All you have to do is hang the diaper over the edge of your toilet and spray.  You need to have a bucket nearby to put the diaper in until you are ready to wash a load.  So simple, and your hands stay clean and dry.  I would still recommend washing your hands after spraying though.

A toilet sprayer is also a wonderful conversation piece when you have company.  My father in law once used it thinking it was there to clean his own rear end.  We still laugh about that.  And it really works well as a behavioral aid for unruly kids in the bathtub.  All you need to do is hold it up and the kids just calm right down.  We would love to hear what you have to say.  Please let us know the many uses for your Mini Shower.  Diaper related, or not.
